French law · Starting without breaking at the first jolt
Creating a business in France: from project to first clients
Not starting fast, but starting in a way that does not break at the first jolt.
Objectives
- Test your project against its weakest assumptions rather than its most favourable ones
- Choose a legal form and a regime according to the reversibility they leave you
- Build a forecast that shows at what point the project breaks
- Identify the available grants without building your business model on them
Programme
- Day 1, morning: The project and its breaking points: From idea to offer: what you sell, to whom, in exchange for what · The three assumptions on which everything depends, and how to test them at low cost · The market as seen by the clients who will say no
- Day 1, afternoon: The legal and social framework: Articles of association (statuts), tax and social security regimes, liability: reading the choices in terms of what they allow you to undo · What commits you for a long time and what can be corrected · Insurance and obligations: the minimum that genuinely protects
- Day 2, morning: The figures that decide: Cost price, margin, break-even point: building them on your project · The cash flow forecast, and the month in which the project breaks · Funding and grants: using them without depending on them
- Day 2, afternoon: Starting with margins: The first clients: which ones to seek, which ones to turn down · What to equip with tools straight away, and what to keep on paper for six months · Your ninety-day roadmap
