Setting up in France

Are you creating a subsidiary, opening a branch or taking over a business in France? French law differs from Swiss law on points that prove costly when discovered late: the legal form of the company, hiring, the single risk assessment document, data protection, invoicing. Ad Cognita, a French training provider, trains your managers and teams in these rules, before you set up or during the first months.

Modules on request

Designed with you according to your project, over one or more days:

  • Taking over a business in France: steps, due diligence, financing, transfer
  • French employment law: contracts, working time, staff representatives, termination
  • Payroll and social security contributions in France: understanding a payslip and its cost
  • VAT and invoicing in France: mandatory particulars, electronic invoicing
  • Commercial law: general terms and conditions of sale, payment terms, contracts

In France, these courses may be funded by your subsidiary's skills operator (OPCO, the French body that funds employee training) once the subsidiary has been created: Ad Cognita holds Qualiopi certification, which is a condition of this funding. In Switzerland, they are offered on quotation in CHF.
