What ties you to others
Responding to sustainability requests from your principal clients
What you must provide, what you can refuse, and the file you do not have to compile twice.
Objectives
- Position your business within the regulatory landscape: what an unlisted small or medium-sized enterprise is subject to, and what it is not
- Know the limit your principal clients cannot exceed in their requests
- Build a set of sustainability data that can be reused from one questionnaire to the next
- Respond to a client request by distinguishing what is owed from what is negotiable
Programme
- Morning: What applies, and what does not: An unlisted small or medium-sized enterprise is not subject to the European directive on sustainability reporting, either before or after the Omnibus package · Why the requests arrive anyway: the principal client's value chain · The limit placed on requests made to suppliers with fewer than 1,000 employees, and the voluntary standard that serves as a ceiling
- Afternoon: Building your file once and for all: The data actually requested: energy, waste, employment, governance, subcontracting · What you already have without realising it: invoices, payroll declarations (DSN), contracts, staff register · Drafting your file, and your standard reply to requests that go beyond the framework
Prerequisites
None. Bring a questionnaire received from a client, if you have one.
What you take away
Your sustainability file compiled, and your standard reply to excessive requests.
